SGMC Health Dasher Memorial Heart Center has grown from humble beginnings to a program with regional recognition over the last decade. From cardiac and endovascular emergencies to diseases that progress over a lifetime, SGMC Health provides a wide range of cardiac care. With a team of highly-skilled cardiologists and surgeons specializing in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, larger numbers of complex procedures are being performed right here in South Georgia to meet patients’ cardiac needs. Our Heart Center features the region’s only Hybrid Operating Room which combines the most advanced operating room and medical imaging technology.
